Karen Jones Roberts

Karen Jones Roberts, age 68, of Maryville, TN., passed away Friday, July 12, 2024, at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, TN. Born in Norfolk, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Reddin and Ila Pope Jones. Karen was a Christian and before going into the nursing home, she attended Foothills Church in Maryville, TN. and Victory Baptist Church in Glen Allen, Virginia. Karen loved Mickey Mouse and all animals, but especially her pet duck Duke. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, coloring, and watching Crime TV and she loved spending time with her 3 grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Eddie Roberts and brother Albert Jones.

Karen is survived by her daughters Kim Kapule and Krystal Dollak, grandchildren Tabitha Dollak, Cody Dollak, and Aidan Kapule, 4 sisters Debbie Stalling, Vickie Kurtz, Cheryl Bennett, and Sandy Priest, many nieces and nephews and extended family members.

Karen’s favorite Bible verse was John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”.

The family enjoyed an intimate Celebration of Life following her passing.
