Harold "Tony" Eugene Newingham, Jr.

Harold “Tony” Eugene Newingham Jr., born on September 8, 1947, passed away July 21, 2024. An Air Force veteran and dedicated railroad worker for 30 years. Tony’s commitment to his country and profession was matched only by his commitment to his family. He was a beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Tony loved to spend time watching sports, especially golf and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Bob and Donnie; and grandson Zachary.

He is survived by his wife Patricia, daughter Angela Seats of Seymour TN, son Eric (Cindy) Newingham of Sevierville TN, son Shawn (Lindsey) Newingham of Downs Il, as well as grandchildren Bryson (Ashley), Makenzie (Carson), and Jordan Seats (Sunny), Brittany Schanuel, Erica, and Dillon (Presley) Newingham, Olivia Weatherford and Avery Newingham and great-grandchildren Jay, Dru, Bentley, Paisley.

In addition to his immediate family Tony is survived by his siblings Mary (Sam) of Seymour TN, Vicki of Lincoln IL, Debra (Steve) of Knoxville TN, Becky (Gary) of Seymour TN and Lori (Tim) of Lincoln IL, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Rest in peace, Tony. You will be deeply missed.
