Elaine Marie Whaley

Elaine "DeeDee" Marie Whaley, age 60, passed away peacefully at her home, October 28, 2025. She was born in Knoxville, TN in 1965 to parents James and Bertha Washam. She attended South Young High School. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.   

DeeDee is preceded in death by her parents, James and Bertha Washam, husband Rex Whaley, grandchildren Travis and Kaden, and brother Micheal (Possum)

DeeDee is survived by her children, Micheal (Tallee), Travis, and Chris (Sara), Heather Cox (Buddy), several grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

The family is planning a celebration of life November 9th 5p-7p at Vestal Baptist Church 4121 Geyland Heights Road Knoxville, TN 37920
