Charles (Chuck) Mier

Charles (Chuck) Mier, age 70, of Knoxville, TN., passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Select Specialty Hospital at Ft. Sanders in Knoxville, TN. He was the son of Gordon and Anna Mier. Chuck was retired from TVA and was a model car enthusiast. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.

Chuck is survived by his daughter Ashley Kiggans and granddaughters Maddie and Emma, daughter Sarah Smith (Jeff) and children, brother Mike Mier (Patty), sister Darlene Heaton, niece Heather Maret (Don), nephew Chris Mier, adventure partner and life long best friend Jim Heptinstall, great nieces and nephews Patrick, Rachel, Aiden, Madison, and Collin.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, February 11, 2024, from 3:00pm until 5:00pm at Karns Community Center, 7708 Oak Ridge Highway, Knoxville, TN. 37931.
