Charles Morley Thompson

Charles Morley Thompson, age 78, of Knoxville, TN., passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024.  He was the son of Edward M. Thompson and Gertrude Elizabeth Lober Thompson.  Charles was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed cooking, junking, and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Gracie Thompson, son-in-law Tony Pendleton, and several step children.

Charles is survived by his step daughters Delilah Pendleton, Loretta Mitchell, Molly Reagan (Daniel), Elizabeth Vaughn (Tommy), step sons Andrew Hounschell (Dorothy) and David Hounschell (Diane), several grandchildren and great grandchildren, 2 sisters Sandy Purciful and Sharon Day, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will have a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday, May 4, 2024 beginning at 4:00PM at 1301 Vermont Ave. Knoxville, TN., 37921.
