Carl Cook II Obituary

Carl Willever Cook II, 68, died at home in Knoxville surrounded by family after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia. He was born in Pennsylvania at the Philadelphia Naval Hospital on October 24, 1957and raised in North Plainfield, New Jersey. Carl faithfully attended Northstar Church and enjoyed being involved in a Life Group. He was a Boy Scout earning his Eagle Scout badge. He started his first carpet business out of his garage building it to a fleet of 16 vans. Carl was on the New Jersey Private Industry Council as well as the N. Plainfield School Board. His entrepreneurial spirit continued as owner/operator of a mortgage brokerage in Nevada and Washington.

Carl loved to travel and especially to any place with a beach. He also enjoyed golf, playing some great courses around the country. He loved both deep sea and lake fishing. Carl turned a passion of building a home into a business remodeling and selling homes in more recent years.

Carl is pre-deceased by his father George W. Cook, and his mother Irene L. Cook. He is survived by his wife, Karen of 34 years. His children Kyle Cook, Cody Woronowicz, (spouse: David) and Jayden Shepherd, additionally, four grandchildren: Lukas, Ava, Hailey and Lillie; brother: Bo Edwards, sister: Kathie Fisezi. Many nieces and nephews and extended family.

Carl's obituary was submitted by his loving family.
